Social Media Analyst

We are looking for a **Social Media Analyst** for **McCann Content Studios (MCS)**. MCS is McCann’s global hub for social and influencer capabilities. - As a Social Media Analyst, you’ll be responsible for collecting, integrating, and interpreting social media data to deliver actionable insights for our clients. You’ll develop clear, effective dashboards and reports, helping brands understand performance and guiding them to make informed strategic decisions.
- We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, a passion for data storytelling, and the ability to translate numbers into meaningful recommendations.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Collecting and integrating data from multiple social platforms and sources (Excel, Google Sheets, CSVs, third-party agencies).
- Creating and maintaining dashboards in Looker Studio.
- Producing ongoing reports (bi-weekly, monthly) and campaign-specific reports (weekly, final).
- Interpreting both organic and paid social metrics across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Stories, Reels).
- Detecting insights through social listening tools: managing alerts, building queries, cleaning and categorizing mentions, and extracting conclusions.
- Collaborating closely with account and strategy teams to support data-driven recommendations.

**A bit about you**:

- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Looker Studio.
- Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivots, handling large datasets).
- Comfortable managing and interpreting high volumes of data.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Curious and proactive, always seeking new ways to enhance reporting and analytics processes.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with connectors such as Supermetrics or similar.
- Strong skills in PowerPoint, with the ability to build visually compelling presentations.
- Familiarity with social listening tools (e.g. Pulsar, Brandwatch, Digimind, Social Studio).
