For our office in Barcelona, we are currently looking for an ACCOUNTING & TAX COMPLIANCE OFFICER. We offer a dynamic and international corporate atmosphere as well as the benefit of customized training adapted to your needs throughout your career.

**YOUR RESPONSABILITIES**
**As an OFFICER you will be a vital member of the Accounting and Tax Compliance team, supporting the Accounting and Tax Compliance Manager with various day to day tasks such as**:

- Assisting in identifying and anticipating possible problem areas, and therefore assist in the creation of suitable solutions for clients;
- Assisting clients in implementation and administration of holding companies, financing and intellectual property companies, and real estate companies;
- Handling the day-to-day operations of companies and responding to clients’ requests;
- Keeping company books and preparing periodic reports;
- Preparing statutory financial statements and maintaining contact with auditors when applicable;
- Managing clients on corporate side;
- Preparing corporate and VAT returns and maintaining relevant contact with the Spanish tax authorities and tax advisers;
- Taking part in developing restructuring plans or other transactions in compliance with recommendations of the local regulatory body, including spin - offs, mergers and acquisitions;
- Assisting with the organization of board meetings and shareholders meetings.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- You hold a university degree in Economics, ADE or International Business Economics;
- You have at least 5 years of relevant working experience in the fields of accounting and tax;
- You are fluent in English and Spanish;
- You have strong management and relationship skills;
- You possess team spirit, the capacity to build strong client relationships, and take initiative to act without waiting for direction when appropriate.
