Openbravo is seeking an Accountant and Tax Manager/ Controller that is responsible for the accounting and tax matters of the company, having timely accounting information on its subsidiaries and group and fulfilling all accounting and tax formalities and internal requirements.

The position is ideally based in Pamplona or Barcelona, and remote could be considered.

Tasks

**This person will be responsible in the following tasks**:
Prepare the financial statements for monthly reporting to the shareholder and internal
- Interact with accounting and tax advisors.
- Be responsible for the timely audit of the financial statements, prepare information for the audit processes.
- Calculate, invoice, analyze and develop transfer pricing policies and post booking entries aligned with them.
- Prepare and file tax and other governmental declarations (monthly, quarterly, yearly) including VAT and income taxes
- Support financial planning: monthly cost calculations by business unit and projects, and other tasks.
- Review of the ledger (Spain, France and others.)
- Analyze and provide reporting detailed financial information (revenue and expenses) on a monthly basis.

- University Degree in Accounting
- 5 years of experience.
- Knowledge and accreditation in French/IFRS accounting standards.
- Knowledge and accreditation in Spanish & IFRS accounting standards.
- Experience with ERPs (Netsuite as a strong plus)
- Experience in an audit firm is a plus.
- Advanced excel and gsheets capabilities (databases, power query/pivot, apps for gsheet.)
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish is a must. French is a strong plus.
- Analytical thinking & detail-oriented
- Proven ability to meet/exceed deadlines under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Initiative, flexibility, and adaptability
