**Technical Sales Engineer for industrial mechanical transmissions**

**Position summary**

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Engineer will act as Product Manager or Área Manager/Key account Manager depending on the previous experience and professional background; will be helping us to expand our industrial gearboxes market in Spain and Portugal and back-office support for our sales team delivering the best service towards our customers.

Technical Sales Engineer with experience from industrial mechanical transmissions and Market Sector knowledge.

We expect our new colleague to have a strong drive and energy.

Someone who is highly motivated and self-driven, and who is self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

The position is located in Spain, preferably in Madrid area with possibility of teleworking a percentage of the weekly workday, but not rejecting other options (Barcelona, Zaragoza, Valencia ).

**Main tasks**:

- Handling general pre-sales customer inquiries.
- Giving technical support and finding solutions in cooperation with the team.
- Advising customers in adopting the best solutions.
- Reviewing of project specifications, schematic drawings and product selection to quote.
- Cooperating with project design team.
- Preparing sales quotations.
- Registering all customer inquiries and to follow-up, escalate when needed.

**Requisitos**:
**Job requirements**
- B. Sc or M. Sc in mechanical / electrical engineering.
- 5 years in the industrial business. (Highly valued the knowledge in Gearboxes)
- Customer and service-oriented mindset.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Technical literacy and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach to everything to do.
- Strong English skills (ability to understand technical terminology and to communicate).
- Demonstrated proficiency using advanced functions in Microsoft office. SAP and Oracle is a plus.
