The world loves Postgres. If you work with developers or data scientists or anyone wrangling data, you'll probably see a sticker with the tusks and trunk of the Postgres elephant on the lid of a nearby laptop. EDB has a lot to do with that.
We've been major contributors to Postgres since the beginning, and we are proud to call thousands of boundary pushing customers our partners. Proud though we are, we are not resting on our laurels. There's plenty of work to do. The good news is that everything we do will impact Postgres, which is to say that it will impact the world. No pressure.
**Responsibilities**
- You'll work with your team to plan and deliver cloud infrastructure required for supporting new product features on our Database as a Service offering, meeting performance and high availability requirements.
- Infrastructure is the liaison and the foundation that enables all our engineering efforts: you'll participate into system design sessions involving multiple teams across the product stack.
- We are in the journey of having a cloud infrastructure that we manage in a continuous and automated manner, with mínimal manual intervention. You'll contribute to devising the right automation strategies that will bring us to the next level.
- By collaborating with Security and Compliance, you'll make sure our platform satisfies security and auditing standards.

**Requirements**:
- Experience in standing up full infrastructure on at least one of Azure, AWS, GCP via Terraform and Terragrunt, including: Kubernetes services, virtual private networks and full networking configuration, load balancing, key and secrets management, certification management, IAM roles and permissions
- Fundamentals in Kubernetes administration and operations on at least one cloud Kubernetes service (AKS, EKS) including provisioning, monitoring and management of the service
- Advanced experience with Terraform and Terragrunt, knowledge of Flux
- Proficiency with Git & GitOps
- Managed a large estate of services/hosts in a mission critical environment
- Experience with Azure/AWS instance and volume types with ability to contribute to find the best trade-off between performance and cost-effectiveness
**Plusses**
- Advanced Kubernetes administration and operations on at least one cloud Kubernetes service (AKS, EKS, GKE)
- Experience with standing up infrastructure via IaC for Google Cloud
