We operate across Europe with our main offices in Amsterdam and Madrid. To strengthen our team in Las Rozas Madrid, we are looking for a PV Solar Project Engineer to join our project development team.

**The Role**:
You will be working closely with the engineering and project development team on offering the best solution for both our ground
- and roof mounted solar PV project opportunities.

On a daily basis you will be studying regulatory, technical, and financial feasibility while carrying out technical assessments and complete layout designs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing and preparing technical and nontechnical reports to a high standard including specifications, reports, proposals, calculations, and contracts.
- Complete solar PV layout design requests in AutoCAD.
- Preparing technical documentation for Request for Proposals, tenders, and contracts.
- Work closely with the engineering team to offer best solution for each project and carry out technical assessments.
- Perform computer simulation of solar PV generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.
- Assist in screening the feasibility of energy efficiency and Solar PV opportunities
- Attending site visits when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related Engineering fields
- 2+ years of experience in the design, engineering, and construction process of EPC solar projects in Spain.
- Experience in reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents.
- Experience in providing technical support to energy-related projects with accountability for project performance and design.
- Strong knowledge of photovoltaic system design and optimizing system components for energy production and storage.
- Good working knowledge of standard utility process for interconnection approval and design requirements.
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PVSyst and solar modelling tools.
- Detail oriented with good oral and written communication skills.
- Results oriented with innovative
- and creative problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, other language is a plus
