V.i.e. Debt Capital Market

**Responsibilities**:
Within Société Générale Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS), you will join as VIE our Global Banking and Advisory Offer branch (GLBA) in Madrid.
You will be part of Debt Capital Market (DCM) department in Madrid responsible for capital debt markets, as well as transactions on capital debt markets distributed to companies, financial institutions, public sector and sovereigns. In terms of debt origination, DCM uses techniques including bond issuing, hybrid debts and asset and liability management advisory.
- Within the team you will have to perform the tasks of an Analyst and work alongside the team to provide support to the senior originators of the team.
Amongst other responsibilities:

- Follow up of the primary and secondary international bond markets on a daily basis
- Elaboration of commercial proposals for clients (bond issues, funding strategies, market updates, roadshow proposals...)
- Active assistance of senior originators on the execution of mandated transactions
- Producing market overviews
- Assist the clients in their requests
- Pricing updates
- Cooperate with the other GLBA business lines in the different projects
- Data crunching
- Administrative tasks

**Profile required**:
Studies & experience:

- Graduate with a Master’s degree from an Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance or Financial Markets (a specialization in Financial Markets would be an advantage)
- A previous experience in Debt Capital Market or Corporate & Investment Banking would be appreciated

Language skills:

- Fluent in English

Technical, operational & soft skills:

- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office

**The VIE assignment in a nutshell**

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
