**The role**
Location: Madrid, Spain The Procurement Executive will be part of a team based in Madrid and responsible for the Procurement processes since sourcing to contract, including planning and demand, performance, and risk management of the assigned local spending categories (Marketing Materials & Services and Corporate Services) to support Altadis trade marketing activities.
**Key accountabilities**
- Consolidation of procurement requirements and exploitation of potential synergies for assigned categories - Identification and contracting of local vendors with optimum results through a lead of the tender, negotiation and supplier selection process for the assigned categories. - Building value-adding business relationship with vendors, internal customers and Group stakeholders - Operation in cross-functional teams with HR, Finance, IT, Legal and Operating Company representatives, delivering a substantial contribution to the pre-defined and agreed objectives. - Implementation and development of appropriate professional expertise within the sourcing function - Ensuring individual and organizational adherence to procurement compliance objectives. - Reporting, analysis of procurement activities and supporting the Cluster Manager in annual setting of targets and strategic planning. - Lead and support of internal users in definition of specifications, planning and follow-up actions - Propose and manage categories improvement projects - Leveraging and implementing best-in-class practices
**Skills & experience**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement or Marketing / Sales with exposure to a multinational environment, preferably, within a FCMG company. - University Degree - Diploma from a recognized procurement institute is a plus. - Excellent presentation and project management skills. - In-depth knowledge of marketing (Digital marketing experience is a plus) - Good command in financial analysis - In depth knowledge of negotiation and influencing techniques - Flexibility and adaptability is a must - High communication and interpersonal skills - Office Advanced, SAP intermediate and RFx/E-Acutions platforms Intermediate. - Advanced English level
