Job Title : Sr Manager, Global Supplier Chain, EMEA Wire&Cable

Role Overview:
This individual will be responsible for driving and supporting EMEA regional initiatives and metrics for the Wire&Cable Category and other defined regional needs. This may include but not be limited to:

- Developing & Implement Business Unit category strategies that achieve the Year over year cost savings initiatives.
- Collaborate with regional Business Partner or global supply chain on EMEA category strategy for synergies
- As applicable by business unit, update (JDE) MRP part and supplier data requirements as necessary.
- As applicable by business unit, manage applicable requisitions (OH)
- Support Business Unit new product introductions, operations improvements (Lean), engineering changes and work transitions.
- Facilitate and / or participate in cross functional team meetings
- Responsible for RFI’s, RFQ’s, analysis, business cases, and ROI.
- As applicable by business unit, this position will be responsible for updating the RFQ log (weekly).
- Support applicable weekly, Monthly and quarterly reporting and / or Report outs

At the Business Unit level, this individual will manage cost savings projects, price negotiations, COPQ negotiations, PPAP activity and price escalations. Manage supplier performance, continuous improvement and have mitigation plans for price, quality, and delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5-10 years in a Supply chain management function, procurement or cost management.
- Knowledge of, or experience with, lean manufacturing systems/processes and ERP/JDE configurations.
- Strategic planning/thinking skills coupled with analytical and execution skills.
- Experience with Excel and/or other data manipulation programs.
- Demonstrated ability to drive teamwork between groups and across functional teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate all levels of management required.
- Demonstrated project management, change management and negotiating capabilities is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business Administrations/Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Knowledge of elevator industry and/or field operations is highly desirable.

- May sit in Gien, Madrid, GENEVA or any other Otis EMEA entities
