**Your day to day**
What’s the job?**

As Assistant Director of Finance you will support the Director of Finance with the financial operations of the hotel while managing hotel assets and ensuring a centralized accounting environment.

Reports to the Director of Finance.

**Your day-to-day**
- Assist in managing revenues received and dispersed including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit and cash handling functions for the hotel.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required by company policy and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices, and as effected by local conditions.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and reporting.
- Assist with the review of operating equipment stores
- Prepare financial analyses of hotel operations including variance explanation and make recommendations to ensure the achievement of business goals.
- Develop and implement financial control procedures and systems; maintain documents for audits of hotel accounts; ensure compliance with government regulations, federal, state and local laws
- Work with other management personnel to establish and implement hotel service standards to achieve maximum profitability and efficiency.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.

- Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, emphatic, methodical, team-worker and with passion for service.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
- 2+ years’ experience in hotel accounting or audit.
- Must be fluent in local language and English.
- Navision knowledge will be highly valuable.
