**Overview**

Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona is seeking an experienced and strategic **Director of Finance** to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial management within the hotel, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and providing the General Manager and leadership team with accurate financial insights to support decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the Finance Department, including accounting, purchasing, and IT teams, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with MOHG standards and statutory requirements.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to the General Manager and Corporate Office.
- Monitor and analyze business performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the hotel.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and long-term financial planning.
- Supervise purchasing and cost control to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Act as business partner to the General Manager and Executive Committee in driving strategic decisions.
- Develop and mentor finance team members, fostering professional growth and alignment with MOHG values.

**Requirements**:

- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role within luxury hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of local tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements in Spain.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and business acumen.
- Fluency in English required; Spanish is highly desirable.
