The Alliance Management (AM) group sits within BioPharma Clinical Operations and is accountable for setting the sourcing strategy across R&D and managing our suppliers to ensure that they deliver what the organisations need; and develop strong, beneficial partnerships with key suppliers.

You will be instrumental in championing the use of current outsourced models and suppliers while driving ongoing optimisation and refinement of the strategy and delivery models to meet the needs of the business. You will have dotted line responsibility for a team of strategic project leads that will support you across the above as well as drive forward key critical initiatives for Alliance Management or the wider organisation.

As an expert in your field, you will ensure you and the team stay up to date with industry trends enabling R&D to make informed sourcing strategy decisions.

**Essential criteria**:

- Extensive knowledge of clinical and pharmaceutical drug development process at various phases of development
- Experience leading significant projects globally utilising excellent project management skills
- Extensive experience working collaboratively with external partners in the clinical development space and of partner selection and qualification
- Entrepreneurial thinker with affinity toward experimentation and appropriate risk taking
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills, especially without authority
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to lead and solve problems that involve many decision makers, and develop multiple options / recommendations
- Have considerable tact, discretion and persuasion to obtain desired outcomes while maintaining ongoing professional relationships
