We’re seeking an** Associate Accountant** to join our Finance team in Barcelona (hybrid). You will be performing analytical reviews related to Trade transactions and ensuring the correct accountancy of all of them. You will be part of the Trade Analysis team, inside the Accounting department.

**What you will do**:
The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As an Associate Accountant in the Finance Team you will be in charge of:
- Process, reconcile and analyze data from different sources.
- Analyze and review data of different products/customers/suppliers.
- Enhance data analytics to enable greater insight. Analysis of financial discrepancies related to System reconciliation.
- Review monthly closing BS and P&L by dimensions (market, channel, third parties, product).
- Take the initiative to optimize work papers and processes.
- Have continuous contact with other finance as well as non-finance departments.
- Review tendency, looking at the number of bookings, distribution per site, and amount. Review tendency in front of at least last year’s same month and a month before. Understand the variation and communicate any inconsistency.
- Understand the inconsistencies and communicate with stakeholders to understand them.
- Review that the accounting flow is ok and we have integrity with our database and middle and back office.

- Knowledge of accounting;
- ** 1-2 years experience** in accounting;
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- ** Advanced Excel** is a must.
- Analytical mind and ability to work under pressure.
- SAP S/4HANA (desirable).
- Knowledge of the travel industry (desirable).
