**Job Description**:At Bookassist we’re proud to offer innovative products that meet the requirements of our customers. To help us continue to grow our offerings, we’re searching for a passionate Junior Functional Analyst to join our collaborative and multidisciplinary team. Although some working experience is welcomed, the role is suitable for those having their first job, and really want to grow together with the company.
The role is a remote working position.
**Job Responsibilities**:
- Knowledge of the business rules, functionality, dependencies and other aspects of our platforms
- Understand the goals, objectives and initial scope of projects described by Product Managers, Product Owners or other stakeholders
- Describe and document the project requirements to the appropriate level of detail, especially for the consumption by the Development Team
- Identify risks, impact and possible gaps in the projects
- Ability to communicate and negotiate the requirements with other stakeholders (Developers, UX/UI designers, QA, etc)
**Job Qualifications**:
- A degree in Computer Science
- Good understanding of software development process
- Self-organised and detail focused
- Sympathy for standards, quality and best practices
- Creative and problem solving mindset
- Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with team members in other locations
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
**Additional useful skills**:
- (Optional) knowledge or experience in development (to have richer communication with developers)
- (Optional) knowledge or experience working in an Agile environment or with Scrum teams
- (Optional) knowledge or experience with ticketing tools and IDEs
