At Winning Consulting, we are on the lookout for a **Functional Analyst**to be part of our dynamic team. This role involves working on an exciting project for one of our key clients in the banking sector in Madrid (Hybrid).

**Responsabilities**:

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to capture, challenge, and refine requirements related to lending products and data processes, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory needs.
- Assess end-to-end business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT delivery teams.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data models, data dictionaries, and metadata management frameworks to strengthen data consistency, traceability, and compliance.
- Work closely with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions are properly implemented, tested (including UAT), and embedded into operational practices.
- Drive business readiness, user training, and communication activities to ensure smooth adoption of solutions across Corporate and Investment Banking units.
- Develop, track, and maintain project budgets for large and complex initiatives, ensuring accurate allocation of resources across functional streams.
- Monitor actual vs. forecasted expenditure, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to ensure projects remain financially on track.
- Prepare and deliver financial and project performance reports to senior management, providing transparency on progress, risks, and resource utilization.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst role in the banking sector, with strong knowledge of lending products and distribution methods.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, project controlling, and financial monitoring for large or complex projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to work at the intersection of business requirements and financial governance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques and SQL is a plus.
