**Your Role**:An exceptional opportunity has become available for a dynamic Head of Capital Investment Sourcing Europe which includes also the global category lead for construction sourcing. As the global category leads for construction, your scope contains the worldwide spending related to building construction, interior installation works and technical building equipment (e.g. HVAC) for any site in our global footprint. As the Region Europe lead, you are in charge of strategic sourcing of all construction and installation as well as production, lab and infrastructure equipment needs. You and your team are leading CAPEX sourcing initiatives with business partners for ourthree distinct business sectors within the European region, primarily for our sites in France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland (French-speaking part) and UK. You are responsible for establishing category sourcing strategies and managing spendportfolios in a matrixed environment. As a key link between internal stakeholder groups and external suppliers, you are accountable for understanding key business drivers and converting these into Sourcing approaches to enable business growth. You develop integrated strategies and guidelines, sustainable cost improvement processes, innovation and sustainability solutions and transparent reporting. Given the decentralized nature of our partner landscape, it is essential that you deliberately focus on connecting partners and their requirements encouraging a collaborative network and driving value across sites. You will lead 5 direct reports (Sourcing Managers) and several external temporary sourcing staff members. For the global responsibility, you will advise and coordinate people globally where needed. You are a member of the Corporate Capital Investment Sourcing leadership team and strongly collaborate within that group as well as every Capital Investment Sourcing manager worldwide. You are reporting to the Global Head of Capital Investment Sourcing, located in Darmstadt, Germany.

Position can be located in Mollet (Catalonia, Spain) or any other location in West/South/North Europe.

**Who you are**:

- You have a Master's Degree in economics, science, business administration (or equivalent)
- You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing/category management within difficult partner landscapes, conducting multi-functional sourcing projects and negotiating contracts in CAPEX and/or related areas of Indirect Spend.
- You are highly proficient in coordination, delegation and prioritization.
- You have good skills in conflict resolution and negotiation being an excellent communicator, politically persuasive with demonstrable skills in collaboration.
- You have a proven ability to lead change, the ability to work across boundaries and borders, and strong decision making.
- You have a broad knowledge of strategic sourcing processes and experience in the creation and implementation of sourcing strategies in a coordinated way across multiple sites in several countries.
- You have project management skills to optimize the Sourcing landscape, effectiveness and efficiency as well as being active on CAPEX projects. This includes triaging, coordinating/assigning projects, completing administrative tasks, tenders, negotiations and ensuring compliance in a complex business landscape.
- Availability to domestically and internationally travel at around 10-20%.
- You are proficient in English and preferably French. Spanish or Italian are considered a plus.
