VHIR offers a Support Technician position within the Cardiovascular Disease Research Group.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Degree in Medicine
- Specialist in Cardiology Additional training in echocardiography

**Desired**: Fluency in English

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- Experience with advanced echocardiographic imaging techniques
- Proficiency in using digital tools and software for medical imaging
- Research experience in cardiology or related field Experience in clinical echocardiography

**Desired**:

- Experience in conference presentations

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Identification and inclusion of patients into the different research projects of the group
- Collection of clinical and demographic data
- Clinical validation of echocardiographic studies
- Identify and correct echocardiography analysis data
- Quantitative annotation of echocardiography images
- Strict collaboration with the technical researchers of the cardiovascular imaging unit

**Labour conditions**:

- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: Immediate
- Gross annual salary: 22.823,22 (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
