**Job Description Summary**: At GE Renewable Energy - Offshore Wind, the Commercial Finance Intern supports the fast-paced commercial efforts on the Haliade-X platform to drive profitable growth, globally. You provide financial leadership to the Commercial teams (Sales, Commercial Operations, Application Engineering, Pricing) and help identifying risks / mitigation strategies while maximizing financial returns for GE. You are responsible for process improvements to drive commercial / underwriting excellence and standardization. You are accountable for the accuracy of the financial metrics at ITO stage (Costing, Margins, cash curves, revenue recognition, NPV). You are part of deal teams, in charge of negotiating key terms and conditions with customers around the world.

**Essential **Roles and Responsibilities**
- The Commercial Finance team provide Financial Leadership to the Commercial teams (Sales, Commercial Operations, Application Engineering, Pricing) and help identifying risks / mitigation strategies while maximizing financial returns for GE.
- The Commercial Finance Intern is responsible for process improvements to drive commercial / underwriting excellence and standardization. He/she is accountable for the accuracy of the financial metrics at Bidding stage (Costing, Margins, cash curves, revenue recognition, NPV).
- Support design of the new Offshore Wind underwriting tool by collaborating with the commercial, operations and Digital Technology teams. Independently own development workstreams including specifications design, user acceptance design and go-live Maintain global commercial bids and run analysis on demand to drive strategic decision-making Own reporting, forecasting and planning cycles for commercial metrics (Orders, Margin As sold, Free Cash Flow, Commitments) Build commercial finance toolkit to standardize
- Terms & conditions offered to GE customers
- Internal deal approval processes
- Fully understand GE Offshore Wind project scope of supply and ensure completeness and accuracy of the cost roll-up. Assist in special projects as defined by Finance and Sales.

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Bachelor/Master's Degree in engineering, finance, accounting, or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
- Prior Energy experience preferred.
- Any practice as internship is welcome but not obligatory.
- Fluent in English (working efficiency).
- Working hours required: 40 hours/week
- Work style: in presence at Barcelona office is required but hybrid work is possible; (first months - during learning period: min. 4 days/week office day required, later it can be 2-3 days/week).
- Preferable start day: mid of September (but no later than mid-October).
- Length of internship: min. 6 months (but preferably longer - up to 12 moths).
