**Job Description Summary**: The mission of the instrumentation intern is to be responsible of organizing and managing the test lab at Barcelona. This includes: inventory of existing devices, test and validate the recording systems and sensors and establish standards for dissemination control, storage and working instructions. The role also will require organizing and managing vibration, load and electrical test campaigns in the wind turbine prototypes, subassemblies or single components from the conception to the final reports. Also giving to the Area of Test and Validation a global vision of technology of measurement and use of software tools.

**Responsibilities**
- Owner of the test lab at Barcelona
- Establish the procedures to manage the test lab
- Prepare instructions to perform different measures campaigns with the instrumentation available
- Analyze the gap between the current instrumentation available and what would be desired in order to perform any measurement campaign
- Propose new methods and instrumentation for current and future test campaigns
- Identify, establish and launch developments and improvements of existing design methods and new process

**Educational Requirements**

Telecommunications, Electronic or Mechanical specialty

**Technical skills / competencies**:

- Electrical / Electronic knowledge
- Sensors and instrumentation knowledge
- Field buses and Communications knowledge
- Programming knowledge (MATLAB and/or Famos)
- English
