**About the role**:
We are looking for a Public Affairs professional who will be responsible for building meaningful relationships and developing thought leadership in Europe in sectors related to energy, automotive, and transportation. You will be in charge of establishing and maintaining relationships with the communities and public interest groups by actively participating in the corresponding work commissions and responding to requests for information, collaborations, and sponsorships as well as getting a relevant representation of the company at different major events.

**You will**:

- Articulate and adapt Wallbox’s positioning and thought leadership to relevant policymakers and officials from the European Institutions (Commission, EP, Council) as well as national ones for our priority countries
- Build and nurture relationships with key policymakers, decision-makers, and executives within European and national institutions and any other relevant organization who can have an impact on Wallbox’s development (energy, automotive)
- Establish and maintain relationships with local communities, and public interest groups.
- Monitor EU regulatory and legislative issues, with timely updates to internal teams (Public Affairs, Legal, Communications, Risk/compliance).
- Plan, Coordinate, and manage communications activities with Public Affairs agencies in key European countries
- Collaborate with the communications team to align external communication, proactive as well as reactive, and issues management.
- Coordinate local and European Affairs activities with our global strategy
- Represent Wallbox at different meetings and work commissions and events.
- Respond to requests for information, collaboration, and sponsorships from external stakeholders and institutions.

**Requirements**:

- 10-15 years of experience in relevant roles (preferably with multi-country public affairs/public policy experience )
- Fluent English is essential, while additional languages are an advantage (French,Spanish, or German in particular).
- Good copywriter for internal and external communications.
- Significant knowledge of key EU institutions (Commission, Parliament, Council) and regulatory and non-regulatory processes at the national level, including how to influence the policy agenda.
- The ability to build and execute public affairs strategies and thought leadership narratives that resonate with policymakers.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships at senior levels
- Ability to identify and mitigate reputational risk in relation to communications activity
- Ability to work on strategic plans as well as day-to-day tasks
- Ability to think both creatively and strategically while communicating diplomatically
- Deadline-oriented, and curious, with excellent follow-up and reporting skills.
- Project and budget management skills
- Responds well under pressure with strict time constraints
- Quick and enthusiastic learner
