**Rôles et responsabilités**
- Role Summary/Purpose

The Technical Leader - Product definition is accountable on driving 3D modelling and 2D drafting excellence among Offshore engineering community. He will be working closely with Design Team by developing, implementing and continuously improving Computer Aided Design (CAD) processes and tools and leveraging best practices, simplification and standardization

**Essential responsibilities**
- Process and tools deployment and coordination among Product Definition Engineer community
- Continuous improvement on 3D modelling and 2D drafting processes taking into consideration GE Policies & Procedures, Engineering Standards, Commercial Standards, special safety requirements. For both mechanical and electrical domains.
- Close collaboration with Master Model owner on tool development, 3D processes and 3D best practices
- Ownership of the 2D review process.
- Definition and update of 2D review guidelines and checklist
- Support Design Review on need basis
- Benchmark and leverage other GE business”s sucees in CAD. Work closely with Onshore PDE Technical Leader.
- Drive accountability that designs are accurately represented via models and drawings.
- Communicate progress to all levels of the organization, and outside of engineering.
- Work closely with the Design Team to plan, design and implement technical changes to components of our Wind Turbine
- Training and mentoring Design Team, especially newcomers on NX usage
- Ensure Contractors capacity to use our tools and process.
- Create and maintain Key Performance Indicators on 3D
**Qualifications de base**
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering degree from an accredited University
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design of mechanical components and systems, ideally in Wind industry
- 3D CAD experience - NX12 preferred
- CAD feature development experience - ease with CAD script and programming looking for more automation
- Outstanding CAD skills especially in assemblies and components.
- System Level design experience
- FEA background / Knowledge - ANSYS preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- At Least 3 years of CAD designer team coordination experience
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

- Experience in Wind Renewable Energy technologies.
- Fluent in Spanish and/or French.
- Open team player with ability to work at all levels of organization.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal as well as business skills and quality mindset
- Proactively identify and remove project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
- Willing to share knowledge, responsibility, and credit to establish trust, credibility, and goodwill across the team
- Ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
- Ability to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
