**Role Purpose**:
The Vodafone Digital Asset Broker is part of the New Platforms Business Development team, set up to provides a scalable and secure solution for people, businesses and “things” to transact with each other directly and automatically, thus enabling the Economy of Things (EoT).

The Economy of Things is all about TRUST, we use hardware enablers to create a chain of trust starting at the edge. Distributed Ledger Technology forms the backbone of our platform.

Critical to achieving success within the role will be to establish relationships with other teams across the IoT function, such as product management, platforms, solutions, delivery and infrastructure.
**The DAB Solutions Architect shall be responsible for**:

- Assessing new technologies and solutions in the Economy of Things
- Design and work closely with delivery teams for EoT platform and end-to-end customer solutions for scale
- Support planning sessions with architectural design capabilities
- Enable integration with IT Systems and Local Market systems
- Work closely with wider IoT teams on understanding end to end service model, integration with platforms / partners and local systems
- Review and support delivery teams in build process
- Align with Product Management and Product Owners on backlog and capabilities
- Enable sales teams and stakeholders with the steer and information on EoT platform capabilities
- Design consultancy for customer requests / demands
**What you bring**:
**Essential**
- Demonstrable and recent track record of delivering an architecture and design service on projects that span multi-disciplinary areas across OSS, BSS and Enterprise domains in large telecommunications IT environments.
Ability to understand a wide range of disciplines in enough detail to communicate effectively with experts in those areas to enable delivery of end to end solutions designs, including, for example, platform and network designs, order management / service provisioning, service assurance processes, billing and general enterprise management functions.
- Management of complex and conflicting priorities with ease
- Ability to balance short term vs. strategic solutions to cater to conflicting demand
- 5 years + of experience
**Desired**
Experience in the Distributed Ledger domain, including different Blockchain architectures (Ethereum, Corda, Hyperledger), Smart Contracts, Digital ID methods (W3C DID.
- Working knowledge of TOGAF (Enterprise Architecture framework), TM Forum Frameworx (industry specific Process, Application, and Information frameworks), and UML (modelling standard).
