**As part of the Home Technology & Products function, there are two key products this role focuses on**:

- Super WiFi - Improving the WiFi connectivity at home through a distributed extenders setup and optimisation software components.

As **Solution Architect**, you are part of a multidisciplinary team being responsible for the product development lifecycle of Vodafone’s state-of-the-art home and connectivity propositions. Using latest technologies and agile delivery practices, our products and services are provided with high quality to ensure excellent customer experience and revenue impact.

In Vodafone we believe in the values of agile delivery and we see the Solution Architect as a fundamental role working closely with commercial teams, product owners and development teams.

The Solution Architect is responsible for functional and technical analysis and specification, for platform-specific architecture and integration for all platforms in scope. Responsible for feasibility analysis, effort and cost estimates, and Architecture & Design of the given systems.
Accountable for major and minor release or sprint planning, development timeframes, development quality, reliability and performance of assigned platforms, for budget and efficiency to meet business marketing roadmap requirements.
This role is also responsible to provide main interface to suppliers and development teams, review code submitted by the development teams, own and build central information/centre of competency within the Vodafone Group, own all major development issues and resolve with supplier. Work with deployment/lifecycle stakeholders on a consulting basis.
Build and maintain matrix-managed relationships with relevant counterparts in product-impacted companies, at the same time being a core member of our Product Squad closely working with the Product Owner.

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Experience in engineering / development (Network or IT) with minimum 5 years’ design/architecture experience in a telecommunications environment.
- Certification achieved in recognised Solution Architecture framework or Enterprise Architecture, e.g. TOGAF and good understanding of mobile Apps, backend design and WiFi technology.
- Deep knowledge of agile development process and methodologies (planning, tracking, contingency management ) with Preferably experience in several areas of software development lifecycle (analysis, development, operation).
- Good understanding of the mobile industry especially of Vodafone Services from a technical and commercial point of view.
- Self-motivated individual with good organisational, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.

**This role can be taken in our offices in Málaga or Madrid (hybrid) or in other cities of Spain, remotely.**
