**ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM**

As a **Technical Project Manager** you will be part of an internal IT function supporting the business across multiple projects relating to the delivery, maintenance and improvement of corporate infrastructure and new technologies.

You will be responsible for overseeing overall project health from start to end and will be required to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. As a technical project manager, you will have extensive experience and good technical understanding of the design, provisioning and implementation of a range of network technologies including firewalls, switches, routers and circuits. Working knowledge of Azure and associated Microsoft technologies would also be useful.

You will drive projects that make travel easy and safe for our customers at every step of the way, while also promoting sustainability and cultural diversity. This role thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment that spans the globe and welcomes cultural differences. To succeed in this role, you should have a results-oriented approach and ability to motivate team members, appreciate different perspectives, and be capable of managing projects across different locations. You will also be required to travel occasionally to different locations. Additionally, you should be proficient in stakeholder engagement, scheduling, quality assurance, people relations, and be committed to creating sustainable value for our customers and the environment.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- **Manage IT projects within the business** - Project size will vary in scope and complexity.
- **Work with delivery teams** - Every project is completed through a team effort, working together with a diverse group of passionate professionals. As the Project Manager, you will regularly track project activities against planned schedules and take corrective action in case of any deviations. You will also communicate regularly and frequently with team members, management, stakeholders, and customers to ensure a continuous understanding and alignment on project progress.
- ** Work with customers** - As a Project Manager, you are committed to delivering excellent customer service. You proactively work with the customer and their teams to ensure that each project goal and objective is met with satisfaction, and that their needs and expectations are consistently exceeded.
- ** Project Management administration** - In addition to managing the project itself, you will also be responsible for project documentation. This includes developing communication strategy plans, designing resource and project plans, providing status reports, submitting and tracking change requests, tracking risks and issues, providing variance reports, and submitting Steering Committee reports and lessons learned. Your ability to write clearly and accurately is crucial to the success of the project.

This involves considering the long-term impacts of project outcomes during planning, and promoting sustainable behaviours among project teams by setting goals and metrics. By taking a sustainability-focused approach, you can help to ensure that the project delivers sustainable outcomes that benefit both the organization and the environment.

Qualifications:
**ABOUT YOUR SKILLS**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- 3-5 years demonstrable knowledge and experience in:

- Networking & Security fundamentals (Network Topologies, Routing Protocols, Switching concepts, Firewalls, Security Protocols, etc.)
- Networking technologies (SD-WAN, TCP/IP, BGP, DHCP, DNS, IPsec, VPNs, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or relevant field.
- Formal project management training and certification - PMP/Prince2
- A proven track record of managing multiple projects of varying sizes, budgets, and deliverables within a commercial environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both speaking and writing)

**NICE-TO-HAVE**
- Previous experience delivering projects within an IT organization.
- Training and certification in network technologies from one of the major vendors
- Microsoft certifications in Azure (such as AZ-900) or related technologies
- Familiarity with project management tools
