The role of Service Transition Manager is to manage and control the quality, scope, timings and resources for the NTT MS involvement in large and complex ICT outsourcing deals. In this type of deals, NTT MS is responsible for providing the Managed Services.

NTT MS does not sell managed services directly to the customers but through resellers around the world (NTT subsidiaries, affiliates or partners). For every project, the reseller will provide a project manager that will be responsible for the customer facing project management. This local project manager will coordinate the different Service Delivery Companies involved in the project, such as NTT MS.

The NTT MS Service Transition Manager will be the project manager counterpart in NTT MS and therefore, responsible for that all the resources (including internal and external) involved in the project are aligned with the project plan, delivering on time and according to the company quality standards.

Additionally, the STM will be responsible for reporting on the project progress to the senior management. Service Transition Manager

**Working at NTT**

As a Service Transition Manager, the key responsibilities include: - Manage and control the quality, scope, timings and resources for the delivery of ICT Solutions. - Lead the project within NTT MS. Act as the go-to person for a specific project within NTT MS. - Provide escalation for project issues to relevant business sponsors. - Organize internal follow-up meetings as well as participate to the follow-up calls with the local project manager. - Maintaining relationships and communication with the different stakeholders during the project life cycle. - Conform to quality and project standards set by NTT MS Management. - Accountable for all the deliverables from NTT MS. - Produce project management documentation deliverables such as SoW, Gantt charts, Quality plans, etc. to a high standard. - Conform to quality and project standards set by NTT MS Management. - Effective management of the expectations of key stakeholders such as the Sales team and the Affiliate resources. - Mentor less experienced members of the Service Delivery team in managing projects. - Undertake reporting activities. - Any other duties required by the Senior Management which is reasonably within the scope of this role.

Desirable: - Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and project server. - Technical experience of modern Internet hosting (Hardware, O/S, Networking). - Experience of working within a project office and/or program management. - A background in Professional Services based engagement
