**Base Location**: Bilbao, Spain however we are flexible on location including Madrid, Zaragoza or Santiago de Compostela.

**What is the Role?**

This is an exciting new role within our European business and will play a vital part in our Net Zero commitment and ambitious growth strategy, come and help us Power Change in Europe

You will join a Renewables business that will lead activities across several Southern European countries with our major Hub in Spain. The working environment will be international, diverse, inclusive and in growth mode. The main objectives are to develop, build and own renewable energy plants - mainly Wind Technology but also Solar, Storage and Hydro across Europe to achieve our Net Zero commitments.

As our Technical Project Manager, you will provide direct support to the Director and work closely with the Leadership Team and other Country Managers to support the development, design and optimization of hybrid projects consisting of Wind Farms, Solar PV Plants and/or Batteries in a multi-project portfolio.

Some of your main accountabilities may include:

- Participating in the concept design of the hybrid project
- Coordinating and validating detailed design and technical studies by external suppliers
- Assessing and defining strategic choices for the projects (Technology, sourcing, compatibility between equipment.)
- Conducting CAPEX assessments, estimates and business case comparisons

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience in a similar Technical Engineering role within a relevant project environment or industry, preferably Renewable Energy with a good understanding of Electrical Engineering
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a full command of English (B2 level) and Spanish both written and verbal for reporting whilst additional French or Italian language skills would be desirable
- Skills and competency on continuous improvement, project management whilst demonstrating initiative, proactivity and creativity both independently and as part of a wider team
- Experience working with the Microsoft Office, AutoCad and Google Earth is essential, knowledge of Matlab and GIS Software will be highly valued
- Ability to travel locally as required by Project.
