M&a & Valuation Analyst - Renewables

**What is the Role?**

This is an exciting new role within our European business and will play a vital part in our Net Zero commitment and ambitious growth strategy, come and help us Power Change in Europe

You will join a Renewables business that will lead activities across several Southern European countries with our major Hub in Spain. The working environment will be international, diverse, inclusive and in growth mode. The main objectives are to develop, build and own renewable energy plants - mainly Wind Technology but also Solar, Storage and Hydro across Europe to achieve our Net Zero commitments.

As our M&A & Valuation Analyst, you will provide direct support to the Director and work closely with the Leadership Team and other Country Managers to conduct renewable energy project valuations in all its phases and support in any M&A transaction to buy and sell projects and/or set up Joint Venture Agreements

Some of your main accountabilities may include:

- Building all valuation tools required for renewable energy projects and interacting with all teams to get the relevant inputs for the valuation, providing knowledge of taxations and accounting implied in valuation
- Preparing valuation outputs for approvals and business discussions and updating portfolio valuations on regular basis
- Supporting the local teams in the negotiation, execution and implementation of JV agreements for electrical infrastructures
- Sourcing development asset acquisitions
- Deal structuring and execution on “development asset acquisitions”

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience in a similar Valuation Reporting or M&A role within a relevant commercial environment or industry, preferably Renewable Energy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a full command of English (B2 level) and Spanish both written and verbal for reporting whilst additional French or Italian language skills would be desirable.
- Skills and competency on continuous improvement, project management whilst demonstrating initiative, proactivity and creativity both independently and as part of a wider team.
- Experience working with the Office Package and Business Modelling Tools, (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
- Ability to travel locally and internationally as required by Projects.
