As an Accountant in the Global Front Office in Madrid, you are part of the Global Delivery Organization, in itself part of the Global Finance Operations organization. The global Delivery organization is driving and delivering global efficient and harmonized processes in Purchase To Pay (PTP), Ordet To Cash(OTC), and General Accounts Receivable (GAR) accounting areas. The Global Front Office works with judgement-based activities. The different teams in the Global Finance Operations are responsible for reporting and analyzing the actuals as well as reporting, consolidating, and analyzing forecasts and Business Plans for all financial information including profit, cash flow, balance sheet, investments, and cost control. The processes for this are developed in close cooperation with the Business controllers in the functions as well as with the Group Finance function. As part of the One Finance Organization GFO is a part of a global team that drives business, performance in order to realize the objectives set out in the Corporate Strategy. In cooperation with colleagues in other business units worldwide, One Finance provides financial expertise, business, controlling, and guidance. **The Global Front Office** is now looking for an **Order To Cash** **(**OTC) Accountant to support Care by Volvo activities**. Are you interested? In this role, you will be reporting to the OTC Manager and Senior Manager. **What you'll do** In this role, you will be the interface and the point of contact between the Business Process Outsourcing delivery team(s) and the Care by Volvo organization. One of the main responsibilities in this role is to develop and maintain strong relationships and an effective environment with all the departments across the OTC business. You will be following up on inquiries and performing timely escalation to applicable parties for a swift resolution. In addition to this, you will perform issue resolution of inquiries relating to in-scope OTC processes such as (but not limited to) - Customer master data process - Processing of invoices, deductions, returns, and discounts - Application and allocation of incoming payments - Analysis of overdue invoices - Management of customer inquiries & reclamations - OTC closing activities In this role, you will be leading the implementation of process changes and improvements initiatives in your area of responsibility. In addition to this, you will be creating desktop procedures and ensuring their continuous alignment with current processes. Furthermore, monitor rule-based activities performed by an offshore Shared Service Center (SSC). You will also monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). **Do you fit the profile** You need to be fluent in English both verbally and written. Any other languages are meritorious.
