Accountant with French

As an Accountant in Global Front Office in Madrid, you are part of the Global Delivery Organization, in itself part of the Global Finance Operations organization. Global Delivery organization is driving and delivered global efficient and harmonized processes in Purchase To Pay (PTP), Order To Cash (OTC) and General Accounting Receivable (GAR) accounting area. The Global Front Office works with judgement based activities. The different teams in the Global Finance Operations are responsible for reporting and analyzing the actuals as well as reporting, consolidating and analyzing forecasts and Business Plans for all financial information including profit, cash flow, balance sheet, investments and cost control. The processes for this are developed in close cooperation with the Business controllers in the functions as well as with the Group Finance function. As part of the One Finance Organization GFO is a part of a global team that drives business, performance in order to realize the objectives set out in the Corporate Strategy. In cooperation with colleagues in other business units worldwide, One Finance provides financial expertise, business controlling. The **OTC** team at **Global Front Office** is now looking for an **French Speaking?** **Accountant**. Are you interested? In this role, you will be reporting to the Manager of the OTC team. **What You'll Do** In this role, you will be the interface and the point of contact between the Business Process Outsourcing delivery team(s) and the Care by Volvo organization. You will be following up on inquires and perform timely escelation to applicable parties for swift resolution. Perform judgement based issue resolution of inquires relating to in-scope OTC process such as (but not limited to): - Processing of customer credit - Monitor Invoicing process - Processing of deductions, returns, discounts o Application and allocation incoming payments - Analysis of overdue invoices and performing dunning - Management of customer Inquiries & reclamations - OTC closing activities In addition to this, you will be leading Country Specific Steering Comitee meetings. You will have the opportunity to manage project in specific areas. In this role you will be monitoring rule based activities performed by a Shared Service Center (SSC). Furthermore, in this role is responsible for the accuracy of reported financial figures. As well as ensuring compliance with national and internation laws and regulations. Ensure the compliance with company policies, procedures and administrative guidelines. **Do you fit the profile** We believe that you have a university degree in Finance or equivalent with at least 3-4 years of experience in finance or accounting. Furthermore, you are knowledgeble of local GAAP. As well as being knowledgeble in SAP (preferably R3), Excel and meritorous if you know Power Bi. In this role, you need to be fluent in both **French** and English both written and verbal communication. In addition to this, we believe that you have strong communication and cooperation skills. You are able to keep deadlines and to plan and prioritize with a flexible and positive mindset. You take an active part in smaller projects. Great analytical skills, with high integrity, and a service minded approach while also being curious.
