Network Service Delivery Engineer

**Description**:
OmniAccess is looking for a **Network Service Delivery Engineer **that shares our values to help us with the design and implementation of the services that OmniAccess provides to its maritime customers. We have a culture of continuous improvement, the Network Service Delivery Engineer will be involved in the specification, implementation, and testing of the full onboard networks of special projects with the aim of helping the team to deliver the best in class and top-quality services.

The Network Service Delivery Engineer works closely with Solutions Architect, other engineers in the team and Customers to configure and integrate OmniAccess solutions with onboard local networks, with assistance from the Field Engineering team or onboard technical officer.

Whilst an onboard network of a Mega yacht may not have the scale of a large corporate deployment, they definitely do have the complexity and cutting-edge technology that is driven by the requirements of the clients that **push the boundaries of today’s systems to reach the unreachable**.

**Responsibilities**
- Configuration and testing of networking equipment (Cisco Routers, Switches, Wireless Lan Controllers and access points, VoIP, Fortinet Firewalls, etc.) at OmniAccess lab.
- Lead the implementation of the networking solutions
- Remote integration of network equipment in local onboard networks.
- Coordinate with other teams for designing, configuring, testing, and implementing our range of products and services.
- Analyze customer requirements and provide resolutions accordingly.
- Help building the design and implementation of new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment.
- Maintain the scripts to automatize and homogenize the configurations
- Provide remote troubleshooting and problem analysis during installation

**Requirements**:
**Desired knowledge and skills**
- Great educational background, preferably in the fields of telecommunications and electrical engineering and computer science
- Thorough understanding of WAN, LAN, WiFi and VoIP, technologies.
- Thorough understanding of network protocols and Linux operating system
- Thorough understanding of Fortinet switches and firewalls
- Considerable ability to interpret technical documentation to customers
- Proficient writing, visual design, and presentation skills in English
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills in English
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, customers, and company employees

**Desired qualifications**
- Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunications Engineering Bachelor/Masters or similar
- Cisco CCNP and other leading technology vendor certifications
