**About this opportunity**:
We are now looking to recruit **a Production Engineer - Metal Forming (DWI 2-Piece Can)**within our Project Engineering team Bevcan EMA, based at one of our European plant locations.
The scope of the role is to support the 12 manufacturing locations in Europe (UK, France, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Greece, Germany and Turkey) and 5 in the Middle East and North Africa (UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia). You will also be involved in project work at new greenfield sites and newly acquired manufacturing locations.
**Your mission in Crown**
**Join us and participate in all the activities of the Metal Forming within the Mechanical Project Engineering Team in order to improve all standards of the manufacturing processes in terms of quality, cost and efficiency.**
The primary areas of activity and responsibility will include the Coil Handling, Cupping system, Bodymakers, Trimmers, Necker, Flanger, Reformer, Die sets, Tooling and Lubricants applied in the forming process.
You promote the development of SOP’s, Best Practices and Cost Reduction Programmes. You deliver classroom and hands-on training of Metal Forming equipment and processes. You are liaising with CROWN Technology on equipment, tooling, materials and process improvements and standardisation of specifications.
