Production Manager

**About this opportunity**:
**Your work environment** : We now have a vacancy for a **Production Manager**, reporting to the Plant Manager, based in Valencia in Spain. This is a plant producing Aluminium Beverage cans and operating 24/7.

**Your mission in Crown**:
As a key member of the plant management team, you manage all the production in a safe way, making sure quality and performance are in line with business and plant targets while continuously developing the manufacturing processes and the evolution of the workshop. You develop your team, guarantee that performance management and training needs are addressed while ensuring a good level of communication in the departments. You are responsible for the budget and spending of your department with a cost control approach.

In more details, you will:

- Ensure that production targets and KPIs are being met, while complying with standards based on related performance indicators and promoting the optimal usage of resource in your department
- Improve Plant’s production performance with a particular focus on safety, product quality, line efficiency spoilage, raw material usages [and launching relevant action plans to improve line efficiency]
- Monitor the performance and providing various reports related to Production and its activities and KPIs
- Ensure effective communication at all levels, providing up-to-date information and feedback to all relevant parties
- Maintain and enhance the integrated production leading teams working on shifts; Organise the scheduling hours to fulfil the production needs
- Promote performance management activities and the professional development of the shopfloor employees
- Be a champion of the Company’s safety mind-set: ensure that all employees strictly comply with safety, quality and hygiene procedures and regulations
- Set and show high standards and behaviours that will drive the “Focus on Excellence” culture across the Plant

**About you**
With a safety mind-set, you are results oriented, with strong leadership skills, robust planning skills to organize work environment and work pattern, besides a strong working knowledge of managing financial and human capital. You are an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills at all levels both internally and externally. You have excellent verbal and writing skills. We are looking for a team player, with a high level of organisation and administrative skills, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to change existing ways of working. Besides Spanish, fluency in English is required.
