As the Country Manager, you'll also be responsible for operational excellence and maintaining and continuously improving 'Scoober' quality throughout the Courier's experienceThis role requires excellent collaboration across different functional and specialised teams and can bridge the gap with the City, Country, and HQ teams. As a member of the Scoober Leadership Team you will report directly to the Regional Director, based in JET's headquarters in Amsterdam.

**All about the role**:
**In this role, we're counting on you to**:

- Be accountable for the quality of delivery service and associated KPI's that impact couriers, customers, restaurants.
- Lead, manage and develop a highly engaged and talented team of direct and indirect reports
- Control cost. Ensure continuous improvement of unit economics.
- Be the face of Scoober in Spain. Act as the leading force for our market, develop and champion the strategy, and mobilise resources to execute the strategy; represent the Logistics business with external institutions, clients and other stakeholders (Restaurants, Employer Associations, Unions, Media )
- Identify and deliver growth initiatives.
- Ensure the delivery service is operated compliantly and with a high regard for the safety of all stakeholders involved
- Work closely and in alignment with the Country HR Business Partner to assure legal compliance and risk evaluation on the decision-making process
- Work with Central Operations and other Country Managers to develop and share best practices
- Champion our culture (Lead, Deliver, Care) and employee brand
- Lead local regulatory concerns and local politics in partnership with our Policy, Legal, and Communications teams
- Partner with the Just Eat Country Director to establish the team's strategic objectives, represent the function within the Country business and to contribute to the thought leadership within the global organisation
- Coordinate with product/process improvement needs with HQ

**Can you deliver**

**Ready to take the lead? Here is what we need from you**:

- 8+ years of experience within a General Management / Strategy / Operations role. Experience in one of the top consulting companies is a strong plus
- High strategic acumen; logical and quick thinking, with a first-rate attention to detail
- Very strong numerical and analytical ability with exquisite attention to details
- Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to deliver and to achieve challenging KPIs
- Resilience; proven ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines, and respond to unplanned events as required
- Self-motivation with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment
- Proven ability to lead, coach and inspire a high performing multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrable experience identifying, initiating and executing highly successful strategic and/or operational initiatives
- Fluency in Spanish and English (other language is a plus)
- Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted business.
- Experience in social relations with authorities, regulators, unions and lobbying topics is a plus.
