Asian desk is a new position inside GTB Spain whose main responsability will be attending Chinese companies in their BBVA Relationships in Spain and Portugal.

It will have a very important coordination role with Six bankers in Asia, Cross Border and the other products IBF and GM.

**About the job**:
**Main functions**
- Assist GTB Spain and Portugal managers in defining the business strategy with Chinese clients in Spain and Portugal.
- Managing a portfolio of Chinese global clients in Spain and Portugal, coordinating with SIX bankers and current local bankers, Many of these clients are prospect ones for the geography.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities with existing clients helping local bankers and expand Chinese clients base.
- Visit and call on clients proactively, generally accompanied by product specialists, offering transactional, IBF and GM products that could improve their day-to-day activity, and their strategic investment and equity plans.
- Draft pitches and review legal documentation of agreements in collaboration with Legal CIB.
- Negotiate deals, renew credit lines and help the Bankers to renew financial programmes. Evaluate and asses current and potential returns and make pricing decisions in collaboration with the Pricing Specialist.
- Liaise and work alongside with other CIB front units in order to increase cross-selling and CIB support units for the deal execution.
- Undertake an annual review of customer product and services’ price list in collaborating with the Middle Office.
- Understand the creditworthiness of each client, register the proposal in the risk management tool and participate in different committees in order to defend credit proposals and get Risks’ approval.
- Monitor and check, in coordination with global and local product specialists, how the transaction services and products set up for a specific customer works.
- Supervise and support the Middle Office with incidences that may occur.
- Use the Client Relationship Management systems timely and accurately for pipeline and profitability reporting.

**Qualifications**
- Chinese language.
- High level of English (C1).(spanish recommended).
- Previous experience managing relationships.
