The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
The overall project goal is to support the European and global response to the COVID-19 pandemic and VOCs by developing and pooling well characterised COVID-19 cohorts with sufficient genomic information worldwide and linking these with existing European and international initiatives. In the framework of this project, will be carried out a prospective cohort multi-centre study in major TropNet centres, enrolling returning travellers presenting to the study clinics with imported COVID-19. Thus, collaborating with the public health authorities of the countries of origin by taking advantage of our existing partnership.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES**:

- Participation in the recruitment of participants of the ENDVOC study at Hospital Clínic.
- Coordination of the recruitment process of all study participants from Tropnet network centers.

**EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING**:

- Medical Doctor with specialization in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Experience and knowledge on issues related to Global Health and travel medicine.
- Additional profiles will be considered if highly motivated researchers in other related disciplines.

Desirable:

- Previous experience conducting clinical research.
- Record of obtaining research funding and publishing in peer-reviewed journals

**LANGUAGES LEVEL**:

- Fluent in English
- Spanish proficiency.

**CONDITIONS**:

- Duration: 4 months
- Starting date: 01/01/2025
- Contract: part time, 10h/week
- Salary Range: Medical research fellow B

**SELECTION PROCESS**:
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.

If needed any technical test could be pass. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
