Exciting opportunity to manage and develop the procurement set-up for direct production materials and medical devices in an international, growing pharmaceutical company.
**As a Procurement Manager at ALK, **you will join the Global Procurement function, which is a geographical diverse, engaged, and informal team, who values skills, knowledge creation, pragmatism and integrity. The Procurement function is present in US, France, Spain and Denmark and work with all spend types across the full value chain of ALK. You will play a key role in managing tactical and strategic procurement at our production site in Spain, together with the Senior Manager of the area, and other global Procurement Managers.
**With direct report **to the Senior Manager of Direct Materials and Site Procurement, located in Spain, and a close collaboration with management and employees at our production site in Denmark, you will have a steep learning curve and make great impact on ALK’s future supply of allergy products to patiens across the world.
**Your main tasks are**:
- Source new GMP materials and Medical devices, including negotiation and contracting.
- Managing all existing materials and suppliers
- Conduct supplier evaluations
- Preventive risk management in relation to external supply disruptions
- Plan and execute optimization of supply/suppliers according to Global Procurements value drivers, ie. quality, sustainability, ebit, time and Innovation
- Supplier management and key contact to suppliers
- Procurement point of contact for Direct Materials and Medical Devices at Madrid site
- Communication and Stakeholder management
**Your qualifications are **a minimum of 4 years’ experience with tactical and strategic procurement, which you may have gained from a pharmaceutical company, or alternative from a closely related industry like speciality chemical/food ingredient etc.. You will be working across different production departments, quality functions, borders and cultures, which is why organisational flair is a key skill.
**You have a Master’s Degree i**n engineering, pharmacy, business administration, or similar relevant education. It is essential that you are skilled in strategic procurement tools, project mangement and quality management (preferreably Good Manufacturing Practice). Your English level should be very high (C1).
**You are a person with **a proactive, curious, self-driven and positive mindset. You are very openminded and thrives in navigating in a dynamic and international environment. You are a natural initiator, able to prioritize and establish timelines and structures in your work. You have a can-do attitude, possess integrity and a good understanding of stakeholder management.
