This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all procurement activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with established policies and standards.Lead cost‑effective sourcing of goods and services upon receipt of purchase requests, ensuring quality and value for money.Conduct detailed cost analysis and benchmarking for purchased items and services.Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that drive savings, mitigate risks, and optimise vendor performance.Manage price and contract negotiations, securing competitive and sustainable agreements.Ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations, service‑level agreements, and performance metrics.Maintain compliance with all procurement laws, company policies, and industry regulations.Perform regular market analysis to stay abreast of trends, key materials, pricing shifts, and best practices.Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure procurement supports project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Participate in tender committees, contributing to strategy, evaluation, and award recommendations.Review and follow up on supplier invoices and monthly payment submissions.Manage the complete source‑to‑pay process, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimisation, and adherence to quality and governance standards.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 10 years’ experience in direct and indirect procurement, preferably within construction, data centre, or building maintenance and operations environments.Proven ability to lead procurement strategies that deliver measurable value, efficiency, and compliance.Skills & AttributesStrong negotiation and commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, risk, and quality.Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor‑relationship management skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Sound understanding of procurement systems, contracts, and financial controls.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP procurement tools.At DayOne, we’re redefining how data centres are built and operated — with sustainability, innovation, and precision at our core.
