**What you’ll be DOING**

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Provide Energy centric expertise to the line of business to assist underwriters in optimizing the profitability of insured business.
- Perform Energy Risk Consulting activities remotely in a technical assistance role via Desk Top Reviews and occasionally via site visits
- Utilizing internal and external information, tools and resources to evaluate account risk quality and communicate this evaluation to underwriting team members clearly and concisely.
- Working directly with clients to improve their property risk profile.
- Perform desk top risk analysis for Underwriters, Claims handlers and Clients.
- Quantify risk exposures through MPL evaluation.
- Conduct loss prevention audits on site including prospects, underwritten construction project visits and as well as site visits following a claim.
- Deliver survey Reports and Risk Grading: prepare loss prevention reports following a visit containing a detailed risk analysis.
- Provide on-demand technical assistance for customers.
- Participate in Underwriting tender bids.
- Contribute to the training and continuous development of AXA XL Risk Consulting engineers.
- Enhancing the environment at AXA XL by participating actively in process improvements and special projects.

Key interactions:

- Report to one of the country’s team leaders, with a transversal reporting line to the Global Risk Consulting Transversal Energy Manager.
- Close collaboration with the Global Energy Risk Consulting Team.
- Cooperate with Industry Experts from other lines of business, such as property, construction, natural hazards, machinery breakdown and marine.
- Interact directly with underwriters, claims handlers and clients.

**What you will BRING**

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- B.S. in Engineering (or equivalent) required
- Extensive Energy risk engineering experience, including Green Energy, and fire protection risk knowledge
- Industry experience in similar role in Energy and property loss prevention or Account consultant position.
- Professional designations including Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and/or Professional Engineer (PE)
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and FM data sheets and other applicable standards
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
- Excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills.
- Proficient communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to summarize large amounts of information and deliver against deadlines.
- Team working skills in a multinational environment and international team
