We are looking for a Facultative Underwriter for Energy single risks in Iberia and its interests abroad, with focus in onshore Oil & Gas, chemical plants and Mining. The dynamics of these markets require a focus on business development, including technically demanding new products and solutions.

You will report to the Head of Facultative Underwriting.

**Your job**:

- Risk assessment, pricing and acceptance of Energy single risks, including definition of reinsurance conditions, following internal underwriting guidelines, targets and client strategies.
- Achieve planned underwriting results for new and existing business.
- Manage and monitor acquired portfolio.
- In collaboration with team members, proactive business development in co-creation with clients and brokers, providing tailor made solutions.
- Develop new client relationships and strengthen existing ones to achieve expected growth and profit contribution

**Your profile**:

- 3 years of underwriting experience in Technical lines.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Knowledge of relevant software such as Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Power BI and underwriting monitoring and reporting tools
- Client focus and interest in developing tailor made solutions
- Preparedness to take ownership, proactive and target-oriented
- Intercultural competence and team player in diverse environments
- Business-fluent (written and spoken) Spanish and English-
