**What does the Data Platform - Data Ops Lead do?**

Atradius is implementing an all-new end to end cloud Data Platform and adopting a Dev/DataOps working culture. The Data Ops Lead will report to the Head of Data & Innovation (D&I). The Data Ops Lead ensures the well-functioning of the Data Platform. They are responsible for handling, triaging and managing inbound tickets, as well as tracking those tickets through to completion. At a higher-level, they are responsible for developing ways to more proactively alert and prevent issues leading to new tickets. Outside of this, they are working with the wider D&I team to ensure the platform, and the DevOps, testing, automation, pipeline development and technologies, are suitable for the requirements of the platform. The data ops lead sees success when the productivity, reliability and security of the platform increases and spends their time working to further these objectives.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead for the DataOps Team, including vendor management at an operational level
- Facilitate the on-going effort to allow the D&I team to become cross-functional and break down silos
- Establish standards and best practices for automation
- Remain current with emergent technologies
- Track and manage SLAs associated with running and improving the platform
- Work with the D&I team to understand the technical requirements and limitations of the platform and set the technical direction for the continued improvement of the capabilities of the platform
- Take a lead role in translating business requirements into technical processes and cloud technologies, while working with architects, lead engineers and testing teams to ensure the well-functioning of the platform
- Take a lead role in establishing how the platform responds to downtime, disaster recovery and other key issues affecting end-user experience

**You can demonstrate experience in some of the following**
- Experienced technical expert with 4+ years’ experience running development and support teams
- Experience in testing, DevOps and security best practices
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, ticket management and providing support to end-users
- Experience working as a solution architect, DevOps architect or automation engineer
- Measurable experience in working with data analytics technologies, with a proven track record for the implementation of data solutions in a PaaS cloud environment
- Experience in leading a team of technical professionals to provide expert advice, guidance, and support
- Experience working with vendors, technical colleagues, and non-technical colleagues to develop a DevOps process and business process map that works across teams, processes and cloud environments
- Experience of working with, and being able to peer review, data engineering pipelines (Databricks, Python, Synapse etc.), automation technologies and platform engineering.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, data flow analysis, MDM, data quality principles and business process development
- Experience working within an Azure Cloud environment
- Experience working within a data-driven environment
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of enterprise systems, system architecture and deployment architecture
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, including the ability to convey architectural concepts, strategy and vision to executive level
- Experience leading internationally dispersed teams with successful outcomes
- Building a network of relationship with relevant technology providers
