Role: This is a fully remote role open to freelance (autónomo) or contract-based professionals based in Spain. We are seeking a versatile Data & AI Engineer, preferably with strong Azure and Python skills, to support internal product development and R& D initiatives in close collaboration with the team. Person: We are looking for individuals who embody a strong autodidactic mindset, bringing curiosity, dedication, and a passion for continuous learning. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of independently managing tasks, generating innovative ideas, and proactively taking initiative, as we cultivate autonomy and personal freedom in our work environment. Qualifications: Must-haves:Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, Type Script, or C# Solid knowledge of data and AI engineering, including Data Lakehouse architectures and LLMs Familiarity with Azure, Fabric, Databricks, and Power BI Proficiency in CI/CD practices using Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Fluent English for active participation in daily work and projects Doctoral or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldNice-to-haves:Experience with n8n and/or Lang Chain Relevant professional certifications Familiarity with EU-funded projects Active contributions to open-source projects Proficiency in an additional European language, preferably German
