**Threat Intelligence Analyst, Child Safety Responsibilities**:
- Lead the development and implementation of the intelligence cycle across a range of internal Facebook Integrity stakeholders on emerging and complex threats in the child safety realm
- Inform effective strategies to prevent or disrupt abuse at scale based on intelligence analysis, and consult on mitigations accordingly
- Proactively hunt for currently undetected abuse by leveraging internal data, open-source intelligence and third party private intelligence
- Assist investigations in complex cases to identify the most effective enforcement strategies against adversarial safety threats and analyze trends across casework
- Coordinate and lead intelligence initiatives spanning multiple teams over an extended period of time
- Inform the company’s understanding of emerging threats in the child safety area through the production of strategic and tactical intelligence, and work to implement it with the appropriate partners
- Participate in the shaping of new enforcement policies to mitigate emergent threats
- Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- 2+ years practical experience in analyzing digital crimes and internet-enabled abuse against children and making actionable recommendations (such as intelligence, online investigations, cyber security, international geopolitical, or human rights functions etc.) with 5+ years total experience in working in the broad field of online safety or digital crimes/abuse
- Experience conceptualizing, drafting, writing, and presenting tactical and strategic intelligence on abuse areas that result in measurable change
- Experience analyzing and mitigating high-impact threats and online threat actors
- Experience thinking critically and qualifying assessments with solid communications skills
- Proven track record of managing and executing on short-term and long-term projects
- Experience prioritizing tasks, projects, and analytical or investigative needs, with mínimal direction or oversight
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience working or managing projects that have enterprise-wide impact and/or multi-organization cross functional stakeholders
- Experience working with a team spanning multiple locations/time zones
- Experience thinking like the adversary, and to anticipate threat actors’ moves
- Regional knowledge and/or language skills
- Experience with open-source investigation techniques and familiarity with a variety of internet research tools
- Experience in child safety analysis for a multinational agency or technology company spanning multiple jurisdictions and crime types.
- Experience with private-sector and other published threat intelligence reporting and its usage towards effective decision-making
- BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity or related field
