Middle Office. Discretionary Portfolio Management
The Middle Office acts as part of the Discretionary Portfolio Management team. Working with Portfolio Manager s they invest client/ fund assets, oversee the investment strategy and direct all trades of the relevant portfolio, within a product / asset class and ensure that the delivery of Portfolio commitments adheres to the appropriate governance guidelines, including any regulatory/legal restriction s that may impact the portfolio. They make decisions about investment mix and policy, matching investments to objectives, asset allocation for individuals and institutions and balancing risk against performance, based on a deep understanding of market developments, financial and economic trends.
**Main daily tasks**
- Constant monitoring DPM Spain Mandates. SICAVs, funds solutions and segregated accounts
- Active participation on the integration and implementation of the global investment process into DPM Spain portfolios
- Model portfolio implementation. Continuing monitoring of all DPM Spain portfolios align with the corresponding model (building blocks).
- Daily investing every new inflow or mandate.
- Trade execution Equities Fixed Income Derivatives ETFs and Investment funds.
- Ticketing of trades for back office.
- Development and updating of daily control sheets for Funds, Sicavs, Mandates and markets.
- Reporting of flows and performance of all vehicles.
- Developing and updating marketing material, monthly newsletters, etc.
- Preparation of management reports.
- Active participation in Front systems developments.
- Active participation in reporting systems developments.
- Commercial support in clients and prospects meetings.
- Participation in the local investment committee.
