QA Tech Lead

We are looking for a **QA Tech Lead **to be part of our IT Marketing, Sales and eBusiness Department (MSE).

**The role**

**What you’ll do**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for eCommerce delivery, aligned with industry best practices and standards.
- Define and enforce QA processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistent and efficient testing across releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality goals and metrics for the eCommerce platform.
- Collaborate with the development team and agency to define test plans, test cases, and test data for each release.
- Conduct thorough functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the stability and functionality of the platform.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and work towards increasing test coverage and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the development team and agency to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
- Provide detailed defect reports and analysis to stakeholders, highlighting critical issues and trends.
- Collaborate with the development team and agency to prioritize and resolve defects based on impact and severity.
- Work closely with the development team and agency to ensure clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts and Product Owners, to validate business requirements and user stories.
- Communicate test progress, results, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA professional, in an eCommerce environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Magento (Adobe Commerce) is highly desirable.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Do-er, hand-on attitude and hunger for process improvements.
