At Vivara, a vibrant and independent startup in Barcelona, we are on the lookout for a Chief Executive Officer to join our incredible team. Backed by GCO, Vivara is all set to transform the rental management industry and bring a wave of confidence and ease to the housing rental game. As a Chief Executive Officer, your role will be instrumental in shaping Vivara's unique ecosystem, dexterously navigating the world of apartment hunting, and making perfect matches between landlords and tenants. With a strong focus on tailoring our approach to individual needs, we are determined to create a delightful rental experience for everyone and become the preferred choice in the premium rental market

**You will be a business builder. This role manages teams, owns the end-to-end success of Vivara and makes key strategic decisions. You will bring together a multi-disciplinary team to build ground-breaking tech and address a growing market need**

**Responsibilities**:

- Set the vision for the company and define the overall strategy from launch to scale, including long-term goals to achieve consistent results and exponential growth
- Attract, retain & develop world-class talent, including hiring the leadership team while cultivating a high-performing and agile culture
- Drive day-to-day operations and align resources to achieve key business priorities
- Mitigate business proactively, operational & governance risks while driving continuous improvement
- Own the operational budget and manage burn rate while growing the business ahead of market disruptions
- Manage threats in the market, with constant evaluation of financial structure, capital strategy & strategic priorities
- Establish credibility throughout the customer and partner network through authentic engagement, and drive solutions to address core business challenges, while serving as an external spokesperson and public figure for the business

**Requirements**:

- Experience orchestrating visionary goals at a senior leadership level, architecting company visions and driving short-term and long-term strategic targets
- A proven track record of instilling and managing world-class working cultures within organizations
- Successfully navigated start-up and agile environments, overseeing platform builds while leading cross-functional digital teams
- Expertise across all functional areas including operations, sales, and product development
- Proficiency in understanding technical concepts and seamlessly integrating them into decision-making processes
- Experience owning P&L responsibilities at Managing Director level and heading significant business units through fiscal landscapes
- Experience in Real Estate, with a deep understanding of the Spanish market
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, facilitating seamless communication in diverse environments
- A demonstrated track record in building successful products and assembling high-caliber teams from the ground up
- The ability to guide a company through different phases of growth with strategic acumen
