**Role |**

Reporting into our Director of Accounting, you will play a crucial role coordinating the tax efforts of the whole group of companies. That means coordinating the external advisors, implementing internal changes regarding taxes, and making sure all tax forms and liquidations are presented in absolute compliance.

This role will hire another person of the team that will fall under her/his supervision. The tax Manager will be in charge of that person’s training and coordination as well.

The ultimate tax objective of the company is taking all necessary measures to prevent any tax incidences in any of the jurisdiccions: Spain, Portugal, Germany, France and the US.

**Responsibilities |**
- Own the billing and collection process from start to end.
- Coordinate the tax initiatives for the company
- Be up to date to any Tax regulations that affect the company’s activity
- Decide on the best tax advisors for each location
- Think about the corporate tax structure of the group.
- Support the Finance team in the correct preparation of invoice templates.
- Support the Product team in the correct way to display how taxes affect bookings onthe site.
- Define and maintain a set of internal reports to give visibility of tax activities

**Requirements |**
- You have at least 5 years of experience in AR Specialist roles.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, both working at an accounting firm (ideally big 4)and in-house within the finance department of a company.
- Experience in having processed taxes, ideally in multiple countries.
- Experience coordinating different tax firms and reviewing their work.
- Extremely analytical mindset, very data driven in decision making anduncomfortable with ambiguity and chaos.
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders - able toinfluence at different levels
- Clear track record of promotions and strong references from managers and peers
- You can understand the drivers of the business and identify improvement points.
