About the job

The role designed for you:
As a member of Quality department in Barberà del Vallès, you will report to Quality Manager in Sant Gregori. The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing Quality input and guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional team including Operations, Engineering, R&D, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain to support continuous improvement activities by providing assistance with standards, trainings, problem solving and analysis.
This position will ensure that processes and systems are in place that meets the needs of the customer and the business.
- You will be developing and implementing quality standards, control systems.
- You will be ensuring manufacturing documentation includes customer and internal requirements to ensure high quality product.
- You will be continuously improving quality within coating/slitting operations
- You will be plan and implement corrective actions in order to prevent the problem from recurring.
- You will be inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
- You will be maintaining appropriate documentation related to processes, laboratory testing and provide training of team members requiring guidance.
- You will be visiting customers and suppliers to identify issues and work toward resolution.
- You will be collaborating with operations team to define, develop and implement controls and improvements.
- You will be networking with other factories and terminals/Quality Engineers about quality issues
- You will be preparation and participation in internal and external audits
- You will be performing the other tasks specified in the Quality System
- You will be monitoring and analysing quality performance.

The attitudes and skills we’re looking for:

- You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering/ quality/ production
- You have minimum 3 years of experience on the position of Quality Engineer
- You have knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
- You have experience in Certification in 6Sigma Green Belt minimum
- You have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have excellent project management skills
- You have been customer oriented and very goods sales
- business understanding.
- You have strong communication skills, that includes very good English language skills - written and spoken.
