- Participate in design reviews to ensure and enhance components.
- Analyse, track, and execute Root Cause Analysis for identified Non-Conformities (NOCs).
- Perform quality inspections at supplier facilities.
- Implement preventive quality methods aimed at minimizing risks and improving quality specifications/requirements for components.
- Qualify and approve suppliers in cooperation with the Procurement team (Ready for business).

**Required competencies**
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering/Welding or equivalent professional experience, combined with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Wind Tower and/or Metal Fabrication and their large-scale mechanical components is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Materials, Welding Processes, and Coatings.
- Experience in conducting audits at supplier industrial plants.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey information directly, accurately, and effectively. Results-oriented: achieving quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
- Proactive, with the ability to work in a team and lead projects autonomously.
- Availability for travel is required approximately 70 to 100 days per year.
- Fluent in Spanish & English
