**Job Mission**:
Field-based nutrition Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be a highly visible role within the Mead Johnson Medical Affairs Department. The position will amplify and cascade the Medical Directors extension of our scientific and portfolio platforms. MSL’s will also support as a liaison to the Medical & pharma Sales Teams, Marketing, Medical Marketing, Professional Services and National Accounts to provide clinical insights, build relationships with internal and external HCP influencers.

**Scope of the role**:
The field-based nutrition Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will function as an extension of the Medical Director to disseminate scientific information to the medical community to nourish the world’s children for the best start in life and provide insight to the HCP on combatting malnutrition. This position will develop relationships across all the HCP influencers related to paediatric nutrition and other healthcare community in a highly visible role within Reckitt Healthcare & Mead Johnson Nutrition (MJN).

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop KOL & engagement plan as part of the brands plan.
- Provide clinical and strategy inputs to Hospital/Marketing/Medical Marketing/National. Accounts teams and regional MSL group.
- Demonstrates the ability to build KOL partnerships.
- Conduct scientific exchange with HCP’s.
- Consistently develops strong scientific acumen.
- Internal and external trainings.
- Support the team to develop, recommend and lead the execution of HCP professional strategy for assigned brands and manage the effective deployment of the budget

**Professional qualifications/ experience**:

- Minimum degree of pediatrician, nutritionist, pharmacist, or any other health science career is required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of medical, science, medical marketing, pediatric health experience.
- Fluent in English and have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

**Skills**:

- In-depth scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge and previous experience in neonatal/pediatric/allergy/immunology/nutrition.
- Results-oriented with metrics, entrepreneurial, and self-motivating.
- Strategical thinker with ability to Zoom in and out adapted to the project.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and motivating people and teams that are cross-functional and multi-level.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics, and measurable implementation plans.
- Highly flexible and takes the initiative to do what’s needed.
- Team working and collaboration are core to succeeding in role and influence the internal stake holders.
- Planning and organization skills.
- Ability to work creatively within a limited budget.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Exchange, and PowerPoint and Office tools.
- Requires on field at minimum of 40% depending on geography (includes overnight travel).
