**Senior Accountant**

**Permanent contract **/ Marbella, Spain

Sommet Education is a hospitality management and pastry & culinary arts education group of more than 1200 employees that is home to five leading brands: Glion Institute of Higher Education, Les Roches Global Hospitality Education, Ecole Ducasse, Invictus Group and the Indian School of Hospitality. **Your profile**
- Dynamics AX and Microsoft Excel experience required and other Office 365 software a plus.
- IFRS and International accounting practices experience is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Fluent in Spanish, French and English is required.
- Must have strong technical and automation skills.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be flexible, able to contribute to a team environment, and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Individual will possess a business orientation with demonstrated customer service skills working within a team environment.

**Main responsibilities & tasks**
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
- Analyze financial information to explain variances and interpret results.
- Provide accounting expertise to assist other areas in understanding financial information.
- Communicate financial results to operations personnel and other levels of management in a clear manner.
- Prepare, review, enter, and analyze revenue and deferred revenue.
- Provide client assistance needed by auditors for quarterly and yearly review.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Reconcile and audit Balance Sheet Accounts.
- Assist direct supervisor with on-boarding acquisition accounting practices and assessing current financial situation.
